McCain has recently decided in light of low poll numbers and his inability to gain ground on the economy issue, decided to leave the issues and go on the attack.
I think it is funny that McCain is now trying to position himself as the candidate of change. McCain won the primaries at least to some extent by being the candidate of experience. That worked then, and it is his best bet now.
